St. Xavier’s High School, Sector 89, organised a special screening of the inspirational film "Sitaare Zameen Par" for its students as part of its commitment to holistic education and experiential learning. The initiative aimed to provide students with an enriching experience beyond the classroom while reinforcing important life values through meaningful cinema.

The film’s powerful narrative highlighted themes of empathy, perseverance, inclusivity and the importance of recognising individual potential. Students engaged thoughtfully with the storyline, gaining valuable insights into understanding differences, nurturing self-confidence and pursuing one’s aspirations with determination.

The screening also offered an opportunity for students to unwind, interact with peers and strengthen bonds in a positive and enjoyable environment. Overall, the event was a well-received and impactful experience, leaving students inspired and reflective.

St. Xavier’s High School, Sector-89 proudly hosted an Entrepreneurship & Innovation Session under the prestigious 1 Million Founders – Innovation in Action programme on 15 December 2025, at the school auditorium, for the students of Classes IX & XI—in alignment with the vision of the Viksit Bharat Mission.

The session was graced by two distinguished leaders and visionaries:

Drawing from their extensive experience across education, technology, media, and entrepreneurship, the speakers delivered powerful insights on innovation, problem-solving, leadership and future-ready skill development. Students were encouraged to think beyond conventional boundaries, embrace creativity, and envision themselves as future job creators rather than job seekers.

The interactive one-hour session sparked curiosity, ignited ambition and broadened perspectives—empowering students to explore entrepreneurial pathways and contribute meaningfully towards building a self-reliant, progressive, and innovation-driven India.

Rooted in the Xavier’s tradition of excellence and holistic education, the workshop left students inspired, motivated, and ready to take their first steps towards leadership and impact.

The Grade V presentation of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone – Chapter 2 unfolded as a delightful and powerful portrayal of discovery, courage, and destiny. With remarkable maturity and finesse, the students brought to life Harry’s first steps into a world where magic meets meaning, capturing the essence of wonder, resilience, and hope.

Through engaging drama, expressive dialogue, rhythmic movements, and thoughtfully curated musical interludes, the performers held the audience spellbound. Each moment reflected clarity of expression, confident stagecraft, and seamless coordination, revealing the depth of preparation and commitment invested by the young artistes. Their emotive performances and well-timed transitions added authenticity and warmth to the storytelling.

More than a theatrical enactment, the presentation stood as a celebration of growth, self-belief, and the courage to embrace one’s true potential—values that resonate deeply with Xavier’s proud legacy. Grade V carried the magic forward with grace and conviction, leaving the audience inspired and eager to journey further into the enchanting world that was unfolding on stage.

The Annual Day Presentation of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, brought magnificently to life by the students of Grade IV, unfolded as an awe-inspiring celebration of imagination, artistry and boundless young spirit. It was a masterfully woven tapestry of dance, music, drama and magic, transporting the audience straight into the hallowed halls and enchanted corridors of Hogwarts.

With graceful movements, spirited choreography and melodious musical interludes, the young performers radiated confidence and poise well beyond their years. Each scene transitioned seamlessly into the next, reflecting dedicated preparation, disciplined coordination and a shared passion that illuminated the stage. Vibrant costumes, evocative expressions, and synchronised performances added layers of depth, charm, and brilliance to the narrative.

More than a performance, it stood as a tribute to creativity, collaboration and the wonder of childhood, values deeply rooted in Xavier’s enduring legacy. Grade IV cast the first spell of the evening, leaving the audience spellbound and setting the tone for a night of unforgettable enchantment—honouring tradition while inspiring dreams without limits.

Grade VI's spectacular showstopper was a thrilling ride of music, dance and drama, all inspired by the legendary Sherlock Holmes! The students' talent and dedication shone brighter than the lights on the stage, leaving the audience in awe on December 06, 2025.

From the iconic deerstalker hat to the thrilling plot twists, every detail was meticulously crafted to recreate the world of Sherlock Holmes. And it paid off BIG TIME! The energy was electric, the performances were on point, and the crowd went wild!

The witches' coven cast a spell with their mesmerizing dances, leaving everyone SPELBOUND! The music bands brought the house down with their foot-tapping rhythms, ROCKING the stage and getting everyone on their feet!

We were honored to have the presence of Mr. Mohit Sachdeva - Director Sir, Mr. Keshav Sachdeva from our management, Ms. Ritu Mehta - Direct Principal, Sector 49 Branch and Dr. Achal Dubey, our esteemed Chief Guest. They all graced the occasion with their presence.

The event picked up with a series of dynamic and spirited performances by our young and exceptionally talented Xavierians, setting a vibrant tone for the evening.

Mr. Mohit Sachdeva, our Director Sir, congratulated the students on their outstanding performance, praising their hard work and dedication. Our Principal Ma'am - Ms. Renu Singh, also added a few words of encouragement, motivating the students to continue striving for excellence.
