St. Xavier's High School organised an exciting Halloween Celebration for Grades IV to XII. The event buzzed with excitement as both students and teachers embraced the spooky spirit, dressed up in eerie costumes-witches, ghosts, skeletons, goblins, vampires etc. The celebration was filled with thrilling activities like trick-or-treating, candy feasts, and dancing to spooky tunes.🍬💥🎃

The highlight of the event was the Halloween Costume Parade, where students proudly displayed their creative outfits with scary nails, masks, and teeth. The school's ground tableau was transformed into a mesmerising spooky wonderland, enhancing the festive spirit.

Mr. Ratul Moitra is currently serving as the Associate Director at WNS Global Services Pvt Ltd. He is an accredited career coach, certified by America's Career Development Alliance in International Career Coaching & Counseling.
The session conducted by Mr. Moitra was highly appreciated by the students as it was an enriching and informative session that covered various aspects such as stream selection, new age careers, upcoming courses in colleges and universities in India and Abroad and many more relevant topics which are important for the students in today's time to provide them direction and guidance towards their professional journeys.

St. Xavier's High School Sector 89, Gurugram in collaboration with Prime Shot Shooting Academy, organized a visit to the ISSF World Cup at the Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range in New Delhi! This event offered an incredible opportunity for our students to witness top-tier shooting sports and gain firsthand exposure to the world of competitive athletics.
During the event, students had the unique chance to meet Mr. Arjun Babuta, who achieved 4th place at the Paris 2024 Olympics, as well as esteemed Olympian Mr. Deepak Kumar and our talented bronze medalist Mr. Akhil Sheoran. This was a fantastic opportunity for our budding shooting athletes to learn from some of the best in the field.

We were honored by the presence of our Director, Mr. Mohit Sachdeva, and esteemed Guests of Honour: Major General G.D. Bakshi, Prof. (Dr.) K.G. Suresh, and Major General Gurpreet Singh Talwar. The competition was assessed by a distinguished panel from Trinity College London, ensuring a fair evaluation.

Exploring Performing Art @NSD Sammukh Auditorium

At Xavier’s, we are committed to providing students with a well-rounded education that extends beyond textbooks, equipping them with essential skills that serve them in their academic pursuits and throughout their life. In line with this, the school organized a visit to NSD (National School of Drama) Sammukh Auditorium on October 4, 2024. The students had the opportunity to witness a remarkable theatrical performance by Sanskar Rang Toli, the Theatre-in-Education Company of NSD, known for its engaging, curriculum-based plays tailored for children.

The play, titled “Vo Kagaz ki Kashti… Vo Barish ka Paani”, was a dramatization of two of Munshi Premchand’s iconic stories, Chori and Bade Bhaisaab. The students were enthralled by the spectacular performances of the actors, which brought the timeless tales to life. The captivating performance not only entertained the students but also highlighted the significant life themes such as self-awareness, decision-making, and societal responsibilities, presented in a way that resonated with young minds.

Overall, the visit to NSD was not only an enriching cultural experience but also a memorable educational trip. It fostered critical thinking, teamwork, collaboration, self-confidence, discipline, and creativity among students, making it an impactful learning experience.
