Decoding NEP-2020@ St. Xavier’s High School

Complying with the fact and in sincere efforts to keep the faculty updated a workshop was organized on ‘Decoding NEP - 2020’ which was conducted by Ms. Meenu Bhargava, who is an Educational and Vocational Counselor, Master Trainer and Life Skills Coach.

The workshop was enlightening and interactive with objectives of NEP to shortcomings, new Pedagogical Scheme, power of communication and upcoming changes in NEP.

Facilitators were ecstatic to be the part of Quizzes and activities on critical thinking, understanding and High order thinking.

In conclusion, the workshop was an enriching experience that provided teachers with valuable insights and practical strategies to improve their teaching practices. The teachers look forward to implementing these new ideas in their classrooms and continuing to grow as inspiring educators.

At the end, Xavier’s expressed gratitude to the facilitators and presenters for sharing their expertise and providing with new tools to enhance our teaching. Teachers were left with a renewed sense of purpose and dedication to their profession.

St. Xavier’s High School, Sec-89 Gurugram, organised the Inter-House ‘Extempore Competition’ and ‘Ted Talk competition ‘ for the students of Grade IV-VIII and Grade IX-XI respectively. 

Extempore is an excellent way to assist the students not only in spontaneous thinking but also in asserting their creative ideas with precision, wherein, Ted Talk helped the senior students to build confidence and express their views about the current scenarios. All the participants performed exceptionally well and their oratory skills were worth appreciating. They indeed left the audience spellbound.

Our respected Vice-Principal, Ms. Sarika R. Chopra, concluded the events by guiding students and enlightening them with her pearls of wisdom.
