Jim Corbett Diaries Highlights
Our Grade VIII–X Xavierites began their much-awaited journey from school to Jim Corbett, with their first cheerful halt at McDonald’s, Gajraula for a hearty breakfast—an all-time favourite among the students! The excitement and energy were palpable as everyone enjoyed their morning meal, setting the perfect tone for the adventure ahead.
Fuelled with excitement (and fries!), the journey continued with laughter, songs and scenic views, setting the tone for an unforgettable adventure. Upon reaching Jim Corbett, the students were transferred via jeeps to their destination—Wonderwood Resort.
Upon arrival at the resort, students headed straight to the restaurant for a delicious lunch. Post lunch, to their allotted rooms followed by a detailed briefing on the upcoming activities. The students were divided into three groups and kicked off the day’s adventures with thrilling sessions of zip lining, water fun with bodysurfing and raft building conducted under the expert guidance of Rocksport instructors.
The students participated wholeheartedly and enjoyed every activity to the fullest, gaining valuable hands-on experience in outdoor challenges and team-building.
After the activities, they relaxed over some evening snacks, reflected on their experiences, and penned down their thoughts in their daily journals. The day concluded on a warm note as they freshened up, gathered in the restaurant for dinner, and shared cheerful chit-chats, laughter, and reflections on an adventurous day well spent.
Stay tuned as the wilderness adventure continues!
